The Master in Fashion Management program combines fashion cultural studies with brand management practice.
This Master is a perfect fusion of art, craftsmanship, and management science, which is the essence of Fashion. It also includes brand identity, communication, sales analysis and buying methods.

Fashion management encompasses an understanding of marketing and the art of selling along with the skills of purchasing and inventory management.
Students can expect to receive a good overall understanding of how the fashion industry works, from what to look for in a well-constructed garment to how to coordinate runway shows.
Management is about the actual operation of a fashion business and requires both an analytical mind and an eye for discovering creative and marketable designs. Also, a deep outlook of Licensing in the Fashion Market and its evolution today will be given.
Process through which design concepts become first a series of prototypes and finally garments produced in large volumes to meet client’s requirements.
You will learn about the entire process, from understanding the product and its construction process in detail, to working and communicating with local factories.
You will learn how to go into producing a fashion item and how people are involved at the different stages of fashion manufacturing.
Visual merchandising is the art to transform any clothing store into a fashion boutique with high sales.
Visual merchandising is also a marketing technique that employs the use of floor plans and three-dimensional displays to entice customers, project a positive store image, and maximize sales.
This course can give an outlook about the work of the visual merchandiser which begins on the outside of the store with the window displays
With the fast-paced nature of modern fashion production, trends forecasting has become a necessary tool to accurately predict the future needs and desires of consumers.
It’s also a way to generate fresh ideas for fashion brands. This course will provide you with the tools to research and spot trends, using visual imagery.
Discover the importance of the production and retail calendars and explore the impact of lifestyle influences on fashion trends, from music to the arts, youth culture and social media.
Branding for many years has been seen as logos and advertisements. But a brand is much more than a name or a logo.
A brand is no longer just an image projection. Brand strategists work on how brands recall clear relations in a consumer’s mind.
Students will have the opportunity to study and understand how to create and wisely develop a fashion brand
Designers are one of the main keys of the Fashion world. They keep a movement which brings new trends and colors in fashion. In this way textile designers play an important role in the fashion industry: they create a variety of designs, prints, woven materials and patterns for fashion designers. They usually create designs for mainly two areas: first ones are addressed to the interiors; second ones are addressed to fabrics for clothing. Lessons will focus on deep research on trends and color forecasts in order to predict what is going to be sell in the coming years. .
Wholesalers play a key-role in the current Fashion Industry. Wholesale means driving regional account sales initiatives across individual channel.
It includes managing a portfolio of wholesale accounts, building new/managing relationships with clients, providing them with excellent customer service.
You shall learn how to establish and execute a comprehensive regional account roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy and the growth plans; how to build strong relationships and strategic partnerships with regional wholesale customers; how to work cross-functionally with wholesale operations to optimize the shipping targets.
Retail Buying means planning and selecting a wide range of products sold in a boutique to maximize profits and to ensure the merchandise always remains competitive by fully understanding customer needs and trends.
This subject aims to give an outlook on the techniques to select and assemble season collections (pre & main) of products.
The history of fashion is a history of people. During this past century, it was the couturiers and the designers that laid the foundations of the modern fashion industry as we know it today.
The liberation of women from corseted confinement, from custom-fitted to ready-to-wear clothing, logos, licensing, window displays, lifestyle brands, fashion shows.
The course will focus on the evolution of fashion industry and a special attention will be given to local successful entrepreneurs such as/among others: • Luisa Spagnoli and her famous Angora Rabbit Wool; • Giuditta Brozzetti and her magic ancient looms, located in a 1800 fresco-ed palace; • Brunello Cucinelli and his cashmere kingdom.
